“Time-Warp – Perspectives on the Cold War”:
a talk by Major-General Bill Robins
at The Vinson Auditorium 18.30 hours.
The Buckingham Society is delighted to invite you to a talk by Major General Bill Robins entitled ‘Time Warp – Perspectives on the Cold War’. The talk will run for approximately 40 minutes, with 20 minutes for questions afterwards.

The latest Buckingham Neighbourhood Development Plan (BNDP) has been approved by the independent examiner appointed by the government. As a consequence registered voters in the parish of Buckingham will be invited to vote on it in a referendum which is likely to take place before the end of 2025.
The new BNDP, which encapsulates the effort of a large number of community organisations within the town, as well as Buckingham Town Council (BTC), attempts to guide the way in which development should proceed over the next fifteen years or so.
If, as we hope, it receives a majority of the votes cast in the referendum, the BNDP will become the statutory plan in force, within the town.
BTC has offered to give members of the Buckingham Society an exclusive briefing on the BDNP. This will take place at the Council Chamber (opposite Waitrose) on Thursday 16 October at 19.00 hours.
